South Elk Lake Launch Site:
Launch off Whitewater Twp. Park, Park Road, then north 1.5 miles to new plate of Ice 4 ½ inches thick.

White Birch Lodge is CLOSED! They went to Costa Rico!

There is currently NO access to the regatta plate from 3rd street in Elk Rapids OR from White Birch Lodge as of 3/1/2006.
New ice in the north part of Elk Lake only measured 2.5 inches as of 3/1/2006.

Registration at Grand Traverse Yacht Club, check their web site
for directions, 7-9 pm Friday night or on the ice

The World Championship and European Championship are scheduled to be help in Finland, on 4-11 March, 2006. The entry from must be mailed (or faxed) to Finland and arrive no later than 31 December, 2005 to avoid late fees.

This is a prestigious event, and if you haven't been to Europe for a World Championship, I guarantee it will be a memorable trip.
