FOR IMMEDIATE SALE – 1991 “Sparrow Hawk” C-Class Skeeter
Price: $ 6,000 (READY-TO-SAIL)

Only 100 hours total time! Located in Southwest Lower Michigan & now ready for inspection! This boat is turnkey ready-to-go and is designed to be car-topped! (Designer/Builder car-topped this boat on a Ford Escort Compact Car).
Just removed today from a clean/dry indoor-storage facility after 16 years of rest!

Sparrow Hawk Dimensions – Fuselage alone=14’, Fuselage w/Springboard O.A.L.=17’6”, Mast=19’2”, Runner Plank=14’, Boston-sewn high-aspect sail is included and is in absolute pristine condition. Full-length battens included. Hull covers also included.

Designed and built by professional boat designer/builder Rick Dorothy in 1991, this Sparrow Hawk was one of only two built ever! (Its sister-boat now resides in Oregon). Constructed from lightweight quarter-sawn Tulip Wood and boasting gorgeous book-matched Birch Decks! This particular craft-design was Rick’s idea of the perfect iceboat!
The 1st-class hardware package is virtually all Renegade through and through, the only major exception being the use of Harkin Sheaves and pillow-block rear chocks. This is an amazingly lightweight, beautiful and high-performance iceboat that was designed with all of the Renegade’s principals in mind. Design platform sports a 23-1/2 degree hiking angle for predictability and stability. West System Epoxy used for all construction and initial finishing, then clear-coated with catalyzed Deltron Acrylic Enamel for a stunning finish!
We shouldn’t forget to mention the Nichol-Chrome plated runners! You can check your look in those beauties each time you remove your helmet!

Priced reduced to: $ 6,000. (As is-where is sale-lucky new owner picks-up). Don’t allow this one to slip away! This is a one-of-a-kind jewel! To schedule a viewing appointment, please contact Greg Ward by email: poplar-1@sbcglobal.net or phone (269) 649-1333 after 6:00 pm.
