... with an Aluminum mast and stainless runners (both are not allowed under the class rules).
You might be able to find a Renegade hull/plank with those two modifications, but I've never seen one. Alternatively, you might also find a "classic style" skeeter that's very similar.

No problem! Just ask anyone around DNs - I've asked more than my share of them...
In any case, yours isn't a basic question at all. In fact a full answer would touch on many arcane topics in iceboating. I'll try and do a decent job in a short space.
The Renegade is a one-design class created my Elmer Millenbach. The class-association's web-site has tons of information (including plans, in case you want to build one): http://www.iceboat.org/renegade.htm
Skeeters are a series of development class boats with rules managed by the International Skeeter Association (ISA). I don't know all the different kinds, but the A's are the largest and fastest, and C's are smaller. I believe the Renegade (along with the Nite) actually measures in the C-skeeter catagory, but I might be wrong.
So, basically Renegade are very strictly controlled boats, while Skeeters are pretty much "anything goes" (within some basic rules).

What is the difference between a Renegad & a Skeeter?
Sorry for such a basic question, but I am new to this sport.

I hope this helps.
