There's the potential of holding the Nite Nationals in Minnesota this weekend, 15th/16th. Current primary locations in Wisconsin (Geneva, Pewaukee, Madison) are becoming a bit iffy, so we're searching for back up.
White Bear is not in consideration due to another event. I walked the upper end of Minnetonka last night (Tuesday) and it is improving, but not quite there. Any news on the lower end? Bald Eagle? Buffalo? Riley@!!! Northern Wisconsin? Okoboji? Does this sound desperate?
Please respond here if you can. Decision to be made Thursday at noon.
Thanks

Do eeet!
FWIW, I walked Calhoun today Thursday AM (3/13) and while it did not quite firm up, it was very smooth and the only remaining snow was near shore. Temps will drop to 20F on Friday night/Sat AM with a high of only 35F so the weekend in MN looks very promising.
Is there a conflict with DN's on a short course and Nites on a long course on WBL?

City Lakes, Thursday AM
I kite-skiied Calhoun last night, it was 1" of water over firm slush. I saw one small drain hole.
I walked it this AM and it firmed up really nice last evening and was fully boatable.
It will be much colder tonight and the local lakes ought to be in good shape Saturday/Sunday.

Moved to Pewaukee
Thanks, Adam. Much appreciated.
They ended up calling it ON for Pewaukee (Wi). I'll post details as we get them.
