The DN Western Regionals have been postponed again.

Local reports from Green Lake are that the ice is suitable for sailing, but not thick or substantial enough for a regional regatta. The thickness is 4 inches where checked, and the middle half of the lake is still open water. Ice thickness has not changed in the last two days. Not considered safe for a quad runner/safety vehicle. Conditions (ice and weather) match those that led to a similar sheet breaking up beneath a group some year ago at this lake.

Western Region DN Championship regata is postponed one week. Look for updates beginning early next week.
