NEW KID IN TOWN

HEY GUYS, I have recently finished a st49 winged boat and I'm looking for a good sheet of ice to try it out on.

nice! ... is the wing heavy? ... there isn't much snow on White Bear Lake right now! (that lake is down like 3ft from drought conditions last summer. there are some sandbar and swamp grass patches you would have to steer around. good luck dude! ... Rick

HEY Rick!

I just talked to Chauncey tonight. He was saying the same thing about white bear. Has anyone checked the ice thickness? Sounds like the snow at this time isn't a factor. There are people skating.

As far as the wing goes it came in fairly lite about 75 pounds or so.The picture I posted is fairly old. There is also a 2' extention on top of the wing. The total foil area is 41"x14' 49sq'.

By the way I live near 36 and 61

THANK YOU for the interest, CONRAD

I think the ice is good , the ice fishermen are out now. The lake looks well frozen over, its a basin lake. I have clients on the island and west shoreline so I view it once a week.According to the weather nerds there is some snow coming thought. There's good access from the north or south beach or the little park at the entrance to the island.
