Thinking about waconia or green lake in spicer,MN. If we can find a good sheet of ice,it could be a site in the running for the western regional regatta.

Maybe considered a last resort alternative. Pebble gray ice, no pressure ridges, no fish houses as of 1/2. 1064 Acres, few ice chunks from spear holes near south side access. Lake Washington is unsuitable with numerous unstable pressure ridges. Jenny1

Thanks for the option. 1000 acres! Looks like about 1.5 miles X 1.5 miles. Would be on the small side. If Green Lake not suitable, we may swing by and check Jennie and maybe Koronis. We are pretty confident on Green Lake though.
