Browner Wins ISA !!!!

Tonka iceboater Scott Brown won the 2013 International Skeeter Association Championship Regatta on Lake Kegonsa, near Madison WI. Sailing his beloved “Betsy,” Scott dominated the 13 boat Nite class winning two out of the four races sailed. The victory is even more impressive considering the field included former Nite National Champions Jim Gluek, Tom Sweitzer and Grant frautshi.
This is Scott’s first regatta win at a major championship.

Thanks, Mike. It was really fun. Also JD's first event in his Skeeter. Could see the whites of his eyes (through the bubble) as he rounded the leeward pins. Ended up second overall including a race win.

Must be wierd sailing in a bubble, hard to imagine how you would sence the wind.Mind you sure would cut dowm on the wind chill.

Yaeso Nervous

Just saw the Skeeter results on the 4LIYC web site. JD must have sailed a great regatta. Yaeso must be very nervous to have JD nipping at his heals.
