If your still looking to do some iceboating,the Zambonie went thru Thunder Bay and re flooded Whitefish and Barnum Lake up here near Thunder Bay. 6" of very smooth ice and Spring like weather.

Mike, we missed you at Christina!
I used to fish Arrow and Whitefish Lakes up there many years ago. What is the ice thickness of Whitefish? I didn't realize it was much of a shallow lake as we fished walleye there and lake trout at Arrow.
I plan to contact the Christina ice scouters later this week for an update on the seams and shell ice we had on Sunday.

Whitefish has enough ice to support Quads.Also there is some ice Shacks out on the Lake.If anyone is interested in coming up Rockys Resort on Whitefish has Cabins at a great price.
I was out at Barnum all day today on 7" of hard ice with a thin layer of Water on top.Great sailing in nice mild conditions.
