Lacrosse open, fri pm and sat 1/15 and 16

clear ice, sail out of markhams or by sailing club/park end of rd, French island by airport as usual. fri 31 deg and 12 mph NW/ sat 18 deg and 11 mph NW/ sun 4 deg so too cold. Call/text me if anyone going as I need someone to sail with fri. 612-432-8124 meyer PS Minnetonka might be boatable sat. 13 deg, 10-15 mph. snow at? 1" now drifted? so harrys an option for non drivers.

update ice conditions in lacrosse

now the report is ice has some snow and not sure of conditions. so unless I can get a reliable ice report the sailing in lacrosse is called off. it's dark in am when markham goes to work and dark when he comes home. the weather in Lx looks better than here and it's reasonable for sailing as 15 deg on sat and good for fri pm, but I need an ice report. I will check out Minnetonka out of harrys thurs for pos fri pm and sat sailing there, although sat looks kind of cold. meyer PS: nite regatta may not happen with sun cold

PS2: update on noon wed report from Lx, 3/4" drifts which will be less after 37 deg melt thur, fri looks good at 29 deg and 10-20 winds. sat high of 6 deg so not so good. if anyone wants to sail there fri pm let me know! 612-432-8124 meyer I'm checking out minnetonka on thurs pm.
