This will be the only semi-formal session before next weekend's Legendary Johnson Cup.

Wayzata Bay, Lake Minnetonka Ice Report
Seven DNs sailed the track in Wayzata Bay, there's 1/4 - 1/2 inches of very sticky snow on about 60% of the track... three souls logged their first iceboat sailing experience.
The light breeze and sticky snow made for some slow laps, and then occasionaly they'd break free and instantly jump 20kts in speed, lap times on the 0.4 mile east west track ranged from 1:10 to 2:45 minutes...
I'm looking for ice augers to drill about 30 holes in the lake to flood the track and reduce the C/F by about 99%, if we can sorce two, the track will be ice an hour after we start. We'll have it down to all ice for the Johnson Cup.

Got in some more track time here in Thunder Bay.Sailed for about two hrs after work Friday night and again yesterday.I am "STOKED" for this event.
